Gardner Denver Inc., a world leader in air compressor manufacturing, and Snyder Equipment Company Inc., the world leader in locomotive fueling and servicing equipment, announced today
that the companies have formed a strategic sales channel partnership through a distribution agreement to better serve the rail market's locomotive air compressor parts and rebuilding requirements.

By combining Gardner Denver's OEM experience and technical expertise with the market knowledge and remanufacturing experience of Snyder, the rail industry will be provided with a first class alternative to its present supply option as it relates to locomotive compressor needs said Gary Gillespie, Director of Sales & Marketing, Gardner Denver and Sam Benson President & CEO of Snyder, in a joint statement.

Snyder Equipment's alignment as an authorized Gardner Denver Locomotive compressor distributor will provide for technical support, OEM component integrity and remanufacturing potential through a state of the art test facility (IS09001 :2008 certified) in its Nixa manufacturing complex. This new alignment will provide railway maintenance personnel an alternative to current supply channels utilizing exclusive OEM parts, from an established remanufacturer of locomotive and service components.
